Eastern Canadian Championships for T&T
The Eastern Canadian Championships for Trampoline & Tumbling will be taking place in Sackville, NewBrunswick May 5th to 7th, 2017.
Qualification will be based on the athlete's best score from the 1st and 2nd Ontario Cups.
Once the 2nd Ontario Cup is complete a list of invited athletes will be circulated by Gymnastics Ontario. The turnaround for forms, booking flights and payment will be quite quick. Please be prepared to complete all necessary documents and plans immediately after the 2nd Ontario Cup. If your child placed in the top 3 in their respective tumbling divisions at the 1st Ontario Cup they have a good chance of being invited to be part of Team Ontario and the Eastern Canadian Championships. This is a prestigious event for our Provincial Level Tumblers and we hope that all who receive an invitation would attend.
If you have any further questions please ask your coach.

March Tumbling Schedule
March comes in like a lion. |
Here is the March Tumbling schedule. ***UPDATED MARCH 27TH ***
Please note that there are a few changes over the March Break.
We are still in the process of finding a permanent coach for the Provincial classes that Daniela was coaching. We will have a solution soon. We will post updates to the schedule here.
Please send your coach(es) a message if you will be away over the March Break. If many athletes are away in one group the remaining athletes may be asked to train with another group.
Thanks for your cooperation in planning for the March Break. We will be taking the second Sunday of the March Break off. We usually do take one weekend of the March Break off each year.

Daniela Retiring from Coaching
Coach Daniela |
To All OGC Tumblers:
We wish to inform you that Daniela Petrova has decided to retire from coaching in the Tumbling program. Her final day will be this coming Sunday, February 12th.
We want to thank her for her years of service to the club and dedication to improving the lives of so many young athletes here in Oakville.
We wish her and her family all the best in the future. She will be missed.
Please take the time this week to say farewell to Daniela.
We have found supply coaches for Daniela's classes for the next little while. We are currently interviewing coaches to take her groups on a permanent basis. We will keep you informed as to who will be taking over for Daniela when a decision has been made. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation during this time of adjustment.
