OGC Tumbling Mock Meet Schedule & Levels

Here is the schedule for this Sunday's Tumbling Mock Meet.  We realize some parents may not know what level there child is competing so we have added a roster with everyone's levels indicated below.  Please arrive a little early for your start time in case we run a bit ahead of schedule.  

This is a great opportunity for the OGC Tumblers to practice competing in preparation for the 1st Ontario Cup that is coming up on February 2nd and 3rd at Futures Gymnastics.  We will have Judges score and provide feedback after each flight.  Your child will only need to attend for the duration of their Mock Meet competition.  They will not have extended practice after that time.  Please arrive in competition attire if you have it.  We realize some athlete do not have their new suits for this year.  If you are one of these people please just wear what you would usually wear to train in.  Niki will be providing you with updates about competitive attire as she hears back from the manufacturer.  

Daniela's Provincial 1&2 Level tumblers should come at the times indicated on this schedule rather than at their regular training times.

Breakfast Television Pics

Thank you to everyone who came in early to be part of the City TV Breakfast Television shoot.  It was a great success.  Hope you were able to have someone watch it.  It looked great.  Again thank you to all of the parents to dragged their athletes out of bed to help promote the club.

Breakfast Television at OGC

Oakville Gymnastics Club will play host to City TV's Breakfast Television Morning show on Tuesday, January 8th from 6:00am to 9:00am.  Tune in to see all of the OGC's athletes showing off for the camera and promoting the Oakville Gymnastics Club.

Athletes are to arrive at 5:50am in competitive OGC attire if they have it.  We realize some athletes do not yet have this year's competitive wear.  That's fine just wear what you would usually wear to train in.  The club will provide a light breakfast for the athletes.  The viewing area will be open for parents to sit and watch.  

Tuesday, Janaury 8th evening trainings for the Tumbling Provincial 1&2 Group (Daniela's group) and the National Tumblers will be cancelled. The Developmental 1 Tumblers (Daniela and Jonathan's group) will still have training Tuesday evening.

National Tumblers will finish training at 9:00pm on Monday, January 7th.

We will try to be sure to get everyone on camera and have lots of activity going on when the cameras are recording.  BT will film 5 short 3 minute segments from the club so we will try our best to highlight each program.  The goal is to promote the club.
