Summer Weeks Off for OGC Tumbling Program

The OGC Tumbling Program will be taking the following weeks off during the Summer of 2017:

July 24th to 28th

and

August 28th to September 1st

Please try to book your summer vacations during these weeks.

The Summer 2017 Training Schedule and Fall/Winter/Spring schedules are being worked on right now. We will post the draft schedules here on the blog as soon as we can.

April Tumbling Training Schedule

APRIL SHOWERS

Here is the April training schedule for the Oakville Gymnastics Club's Tumbling Program.

Please note that we have the 2nd Ontario Cup and the 3rd Ontario Cup both in April.

We are still working out who will be supply coaching around those competitions.

Please also note that we will have training on Easter Sunday, April 16th.  Please let you coaches know if you will be away on that Sunday.  We might be able to put a few groups together on that weekend to save the coaches from needing to be at the gym for the full day.

2nd Ontario Cup Schedule

Here is the schedule for the 2nd Ontario Cup for Trampoline & Tumbling.

Date: April 7th to 9th, 2017

Location: Queen's University Athletics & Recreation Centre, 284 Earl Street, Kingston, ON

Please be sure to arrive well before your Stretch / Warm Up time in case the competition runs ahead of schedule.

USA Gymnastics Development Camp for Trampoline & Tumbling

 Congratulations to the Oakville Gymnastics Club athletes Emily and Ben who were invited to attend the USA Gymnastics Development Camp for Trampoline & Tumbling.  (also invited was Elizabeth Karam who was unable to attend).  Emily and Ben traveled to the Karolyi Ranch Olympic Training Center in Texas to train along side their Canadian and American counterparts for four days over the March Break.

Snow Day Tumbling Cancelled

Monday, March 13th the following Tumbling Classes are cancelled:

6:30pm to 9:00pm Provincial 1 Tumbling with Amanda CANCELLED
6:30pm to 9:30pm National Group with Niki and Don CANCELLED

4:30pm to 6:30pm Provincial 23 is still running.

Note the viewing area and office will be closing at 5:30pm.

Please look here for information on tomorrow evening's training.  We will wait to see what the weather looks like tomorrow.

Fun in the Snow T&T Invitational Pics

Congratulations to the OGC Tumblers who competed at the Pickering Athletics Centre "Fun in the Snow" Invitational in February.  This was a great event to kick off the season for our Showcase and Interclub Level Tumblers.  Well done everyone!
