Tumblers & Tiaras 2014

Okay so I'm really behind on posting photos and videos from the events this winter.  Every weekend there has been a competition.  It gets really hard to catch up.

I have posted all of the photos on my Facebook profile.  You can find me at Don Holmes.  As well I have posted all the videos from the competition on my Youtube Channel again search Donald Holmes and you should me.  I'm a prolific poster of videos from competitions.  Some of the videos are a bit long as they were recorded as one long capture rather than per pass.  

Thank you to everyone who helped out at this event and thank you to everyone who got into the spirit of the event and dressed up.  

We are looking forward to the 2015 Tumblers & Tiaras.  Each year it gets better.  

The kids love it.

2014 Ontario Championships Schedule

Next weekend is the 

2014 Trampoline & Tumbling Ontario Championships.

  Here is the 1st draft of a competition schedule.  It could still change.  If it does change I will post the updated schedule here on the blog.  I have chopped it down to show just the Tumbling competition schedule in order to make it easier to read.

The competition will be hosted by Anti-Gravity Trampoline Club at the

Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your stretch time as indicated on the schedule below.

Elite Ontario & 3rd ON Cup Schedule Tumbling

Here is the schedule for the 

2014 Elite Ontario Championships 

for National Level Tumblers

 & 

3rd Ontario Cup 

for Provincial Tumblers.

The coaches will print you paper copies this week and distribute them to the tumblers.  Please be sure to be about 30 minutes early for your flight so that in case they are running early you will not miss your competition.

2 Silver medals at 2014 Elite Canada for OGC Tumblers

Congratulations to the OGC tumblers who traveled out to the 2014 Elite Canada Trampoline & Tumbling competition in Kamloops, British Columbia.

OGC Tumbling Team: coach - Don Holmes, Michael Chaves, Sean Robertson and Ben Senior at the 2014 Elite Canada for Trampoline & Tumbling in Kamloops.

Congratulations to Ben Senior who captured the silver medal in the Junior Open Men's Tumbling category.

Awards for the top 3 Senior Men's tumblers: 1st Vincent Lavoie - Tumbling Drummondville, 2nd Michael Chaves - Oakville, and 3rd Dakwan Henry - Futures.

Congratulations to Michael Chaves for bringing home the silver medal in the Senior Men's tumbling category.

Snow Day Schedule Change Tumbling

Due to today's weather we have decided to alter the schedule.

Provincial 2,3,4 Group regular training 4:30 to 7:30pm with Amanda (& Daniela until 5:30pm) 

Developmental 2 Tumblers regular training time 5:30 to 7:30pm with Daniela

National Tumblers 5:30 to 7:30pm with Niki

National Tumblers will train earlier due to the weather.

Thursday should be back to regular training schedule.
