Canada Cup 2012 Day 1
Congratulations to the OGC Men's tumblers who had a successful "Day 1" of comeptition at the 2012 Canada Cup for Trampoling & Tumbling in Langley, British Columbia. All 4 men performed their passes to their feet.
Ben Senior and Jack McGarr placed 2nd and 3rd in the Youth Men's category having moved up from the Novice ranks which they previously competed in. Ben and Jack will add to their overall score today as they compete in the Youth Men's final round this evening.
You can find their passes on Youtube at the following link:

Michael Chaves and Jonathan Meehan both performed well in the Senior Men's division landing 5th and 3rd. This is Jonathan's first major National competition since breaking his ankle in November. This strong come back shows that his abilities are still there. Michael Chaves was going for some higher difficulty on Day 1 of the competition and faltered slightly with a double layout to double layout combination and had to sub a double pike at the end of his pass. Looking for a stronger performance from Michael who sits point one behind Amiel Clarke of Calgary Gymnastics Centre.
Good luck to the Senior Men in their finals on Sunday morning.
