Who is really in charge

Madame Agnes Jankura
Administrator Extraordinaire!

Hi everyone,

Saucey's World will be here Sunday, May 4th from 12-1:30pm to sort out any final gym suit alterations. If your child has any problems with theirsuit/shorts/singlet, please be here with the suit at that time so that proper alterations can be made. Please ensure you are present for this fitting for problems such as: undersuit that shows through, problems with the leg elastic, shorts that are too big in the thigh, etc.

Thank-you for your patience as we continue to make adjustments to the uniform.

Summer Training

I have been trying to set a summer schedule but it has been extremely difficult to find something appropriate.

Usually we take the first two weeks of July off. Unfortunately this year we have a National Level competition the 2nd weekend in July. It is not a good idea to take the two weeks off prior to a National event so training will continue to run the first two weeks of July.

Don and Niki's groups will have the week of July 21st to 25th off. We will be taking our second week of holidays in October as this is the best down time in our season to do so. The week in October will be set at a time closer to October. All other weeks of July and August will have the regular summer schedule.

Dave's groups will be off the week of July 21st to 25th and the week of the 28th to the 1st of August.

As of yet I have not set groups for the next year. This obviously makes it difficult to figure out when you will have set breaks in the the summer schedule as it depends on your group.

We would like athletes to have a 50% attendance rate or better during the summer. My apologies to those who I had forcasted differnt break times. At this point know that we will definitely have class the first two weeks of July. You can plan holidays for the 3rd week of July. If we run into a situation where families need to be gone for family vacations on weeks when there is training we will be understanding.

I am still working on the staffing of our program, the scheduling and the group placements. Once I have settled on staff for next year then I will be able to proceed with the other two items.

Summer schedule will be similar to last summer: all afternoon and evening trainings. No mornings and no weekends. There will be split training for the group who will train mornings in the fall/winter. This means their training will be 'split' into two trainings on the same day.

NOTE: Please let us know if you do not plan to return to tumbling for the next season as we are holding tryouts for the program at the end of May and need to know if there will be any spaces opening up.

Niki & Don's Show

Niki and Don will be performing as part of the Teatro Splendido show at Carmen's Banquet Hall in Hamilton. The show is an interactive dinner theatre show that is family friendly. For more info check out www.carmens.com.
