Easterns Nova Scotia Day 2.1

Like I said we had it in the bag on Day 2 of the Eastern Canadian Trampoline and Tumbling Championships.

We brought home four individual medals. Wahoo!

Haley Palmer won GOLD in the Women's 13 & Over C devision.

Kezia Allen won BRONZE in the Women's B devision.

Jack McGarr won BRONZE in the Men's B devision.

Cory Marsh won GOLD in the Men's A devision.

Josh Sardella placed 5th in the Men's B devision.
Anthony Gentili placed 6th in the Men's B devision.
Braden Currie placed 9th in the Men's B devision.

This Easterns was fantastic. Everyone had a great time, made some new friends, and competed very well.

The Acadia University was an ideal location to host the Easterns and the food was great. On Sunday morning before the competition we tried to take a little trip to Peggy's Cove but decided it was too far. Instead we slipped over to the Halifax harbour and walked around in the fog. It was nice to get out and see something other than the inside of the arena.

After the long set of awards everyone did a quick change and went to the final banquet where everyon cut loose on the dance floor.

I want to say thanks to all the OGC athletes for being well behaved and being very respectful throughout the whole trip.

As well I want to thank the parents for their cooperation and for driving us to the Halifax Harbour. We could not have done it without you.

Well done everyone. Hope you like the pics.
