Here is the competition schedule for the
Tumblers, Tiaras & Tuxedos
Interclub Tumbling
Competition and Demonstration

Remember everyone should be in formal evening wear including parents, guests, friends, grandparents, family.  This event will be the ultimate in high fashion, fantastic tumbling and high glitz entertainment.
The more you put into this event the more fun it will be for the athletes and it's really all about our OGC stars.

Athletes will compete first in their regular gymnastics attire then go transform into their evening regalia for the awards ceremony.  Awards will take place on the lower level on the red carpet.  The stars of the evening will receive pizza and sparkling "kid friendly" champagne with their slice.  Guests are welcome to sparkling "champagne" as well and hors d'oeuvres.  Bring a camera with flash as the more paparazzi we have the more exciting it will be for the kids.  (remember to forward your best shots to Don after the event for inclusion on the blog and the OGC Power Tumbling Facebook group post the event. Thx!)

Sarah's cowgirl outfit!

Lauren, Maxx (with spray on tan) and Eryka ready to rock the red carpet.

Ella with her full glitz face!

Everyone will win something!!!

No comment on the strange fellow on the left.

The other famous Donald

Naomi Smith went to Disney World on her March Break.  Who doesn't want a photo with Donald?

Kind of blurry but my sister and her family did the same thing on March Break.  Got to get me shoes like his.

Back flip a day

In the summer of 2011 we had a back flip photo contest. This guy took it to the next level. He recorded himself doing a back flip at least once a day for the entire year of 2011. Check it out.

Weeks off during Summer

Please note that the Tumbling Program will be taking the last two weeks of August off this summer.  This means that there will no tumbling practices during the following weeks of August:

August 20th to 24th
and
August 27th to 31st

Fall Schedule training will begin September 5th, 2012.

Please plan your family vacation around these two weeks if you can.

As well remember that we require a 50% attendance during the summer training weeks in order to be permitted to remain in the program.  Those athletes who do not attend a minimum of 50% of summer training will invited to leave the program to make space for those athletes on the waiting list, who can commit to the training requirement.

March Break Tumbling Notes

The viewing area will be closed for Sunday, March 11th and after 5:00pm Monday through Thursday of the March Break.  Classes will be running but parents will not be permitted to sit in the viewing area of the club.  Only athletes will be permitted into the gymnastics club.

If you will be away let the coaches know.

If you need to take your child out early and the viewing area is closed you should let the coaches know in advance.

If you are late to the class bang on the back door as we will not hear you at the front sliding glass doors.

If the gym is closed at the beginning and end of the class then the athletes will be ushered into and out of the club via the sliding glass doors.

If there is an emergency and you need to get your child out of class early also bang on the back door to catch our attention.

Thanks for your cooperation.
